Mailocator installation - link to your site

How to connect Mailocator with e-shop or website?

Connecting to Mailocator is very easy, just insert a small piece of code - a snippet - into the template of your site.
The instructions are always displayed immediately after creating a new project.
You can also send the instructions to your webmaster, or follow the steps below.
You can insert a snippet directly by inserting it into pages (your webmaster) or by using Google Tag Manager if you use it.

You can view the snippet at any time on the Mailocator dashboard.

Attention, each project has its own unique snippet.

Copy the snippet code from the window.
You can also have the code sent to your email and passed on to your webmaster or marketing administrator.

Insert the code manually

      <meta charset="utf-8" />

Find the  <head> tag on your site and paste the code in the highest position possible.
If this is not possible, you can also paste the code into the  <body> tag

Insert using Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Open https://tagmanager.google.com, if you're not signed in, sign in with your Google Account.
Select New Tag.

Select from the tag insertion palette Custom HTML.

Click the add code icon.

Paste the Mailocator snippet you copied earlier.
Never insert more than one snippet!

Save the embedded snippet and add snippet execution rules in the last step.

The usual and recommended choice is All Pages to ensure that Mailocator behaves correctly, and save the settings.

Of course, you can influence the startup parameters, but they can distort the behavior of Mailocator and must be taken into account when creating scenarios..

How can I verify that my site is properly linked?

Once an activity appears on your site, you should see records of that activity in Mailocator monitoring.
In this case, the installation has completed and Mailocator is connected.

Mark campaign conversions with actions

Where a campaign is not automatically marked as converted (such as a newsletter sign-up), you can add a conversion using an action to better evaluate the success of the campaign.

Scenario testing laboratory

An easy way to verify the functionality of the scenario in Mailocator is to run a laboratory where you can see the entire course of processing over time, including the evaluation of conditions and user actions.

Disabling and enabling Mailocator using a parameter in the URL

If you need to limit campaigns in time and the UTM parameter is not available, you can use the internal parameter of Mailocator
